At Tjuvholmen, facing the Astrup Fearnley museum and close to the water's edge you can find a different Fish and Seafood concept: Tjuvholmen Sjømagasin. It is divided into several areas: the main restaurant, the open Chambre Separée, the Fish Deli and the Conference Centre.
You can admire dark lobsters and king crabs in our aquarium right inside the entrance, and the scent of fish and shellfish waft out into the dining room from the panoramic kitchen.

Close to the Oslo Fjord
Tjuvholmen is the city's best plot of land, extending onto the water from Aker Brygge and Filipstad. With a breathtaking view, situated by the sea, and just a short walk from the centre of Oslo and all of the important attractions.
A first class plot of land deserves first class architecture. The principal architectural style for Tjuvholmen is created by the prominent architect Niels Torp, who characterises the little island kingdom of Tjuvholmen as "a play with water".
Fresh From the Sea
We understand the importance of using fresh ingredients, as well as taking into consideration the varying seasons, as different types of fish and shellfish are at their best at different times of the year. With this in mind, we have put together a menu consisting of courses suitable for all palates; from children to chefs.
Book a Table
The beginning of a good meal often starts with simple, fresh ingredients and a skilled chef. Then, with the right accompaniment in your glass, the experience can be lifted to the extraordinary. Within our restaurant we can promise you a fantastic culinary journey.
Welcome to Tjuvholmen Sjømagasin.
